Former US President Donald Trump stated that both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky want the war to end but do not know how to achieve it, citing strong hatred between the leaders. Trump also mentioned that the United States continues to share intelligence with Ukraine and is working with both Kyiv and Moscow to end the conflict.

Following a Russian missile attack on Kyiv, Ukrainian air forces reported that launches from Russian territory were not detected, and an air raid alert was issued only as missiles approached the city. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated that Ukraine continues to receive intelligence from the US, and the delay in the air raid alert was due to Russia using a "specific type of weapon."
