Former US President Donald Trump threatened the Houthis, stating they are behaving disgracefully and have resumed their actions, possibly under the direction of Iran. He accused Iran of being a failing state with a poor economy and high inflation.

Trump claimed the Houthis are attacking Saudi Arabia and intentionally trying to raise oil prices ahead of the US elections. He asserted that he has already won the election and will remain in power after it.
