Two Ukrainian rescuers, Viktor Kuzmenko and Dmytro Skryl, were killed as a result of Russian Federation's military aggression while performing their duties. In Cherkasy, Andriy Grechany, an employee of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine from Poltava, ran 42 kilometers wearing full rescuer gear weighing almost 23 kilograms.

Grechany completed the run as part of the Run4Victory charity race, honoring the memory of his colleagues who died as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
