Diesel fuel in Ukraine may soon exceed 100 Ukrainian hryvnia (approximately 200 Russian rubles) per liter, according to fuel market expert Sergey Kuyun. European diesel quotes have been near a record high of $1500 per ton for a week, while oil prices are around $108 per barrel.

Kuyun cited Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabian oil infrastructure and threats to shipping through the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait as additional factors driving up prices.
