Mandatory evacuation of children has been announced in four districts of Sloviansk, Ukraine, according to Vadym Lyakh, head of the Sloviansk city military administration. The evacuation zone has been expanded to include the microdistricts of Tselinny/Sobolevka, Kirpichny, Severny, and the settlement of Sukhanovka.

The decision to expand the evacuation zone is based on provisions of the law, a letter from the 'Vostok' operational-strategic group of Ukrainian troops, and a decision by the Donetsk Oblast Defense Council. Previously, mandatory evacuations were conducted in the microdistricts of Semenovka, Vysokivanovka, Vostochny, Khimik, Cherevkovka, and Slovkurort.
