In Poltava, memorial plaques were unveiled at two educational institutions for two fallen rescuers, Viktor Kuzmenko and Dmytro Skrylo. Both men died on May 5, 2026, during a Russian strike on an enterprise near Mashivka.
The Russian army reportedly employed a double strike tactic with missiles on the location where emergency responders had arrived.
