Ukraine's Air Force reported intercepting and suppressing 267 Russian drones, primarily Shahed-type, overnight on September 25. The drones were launched from various locations in Russia and occupied Crimea, including Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo, and Donetsk.

Ukrainian air defense units, including aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups, engaged the incoming drones. Preliminary data indicates that enemy air attack assets hit 16 locations, with debris from downed drones falling in 4 other areas. The attack was ongoing, with several enemy drones still in the air.
