Ukraine's Air Force has reported the first successful interceptions of Russian "Geran-5" drones using robotic turrets equipped with machine guns and artificial intelligence, according to spokesperson Yuriy Ihnat. Ihnat stated that the use of AI has eliminated human error, with the system employing machine vision for targeting.

Ihnat noted that the operational radius of these robotic turrets is limited, and the primary weapon employed is a machine gun.
