Robotic turrets have reportedly downed reactive drones, including the Geran-5, using machine vision and artificial intelligence, according to Yuriy Ihnat, spokesperson for the Air Force. Ihnat stated that these turrets are being installed on bridges and have successfully intercepted reactive unmanned aerial vehicles.

Ihnat expressed initial skepticism about the effectiveness of these turrets against reactive drones but acknowledged that the application of innovative technologies and AI has eliminated human error and improved technical calculations.
