Ukrainian defender Ihor Anisimienko, known by the call sign "Seryi," was killed on August 30, 2022, during a combat mission near the village of Stepova Dolyna in Mykolaiv Oblast. He was 27 years old.

Anisimienko served as a rifleman-medic in the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He was known for his love of animals and had a dog and a cat. His sister described him as a best friend and a supportive figure who dreamed of having a family.
