Oleksandr Siomak, a defender born in 1976 in the Orzhytska community, was killed on July 7, 2023, near Avdiivka in the Donetsk region while performing a combat mission. He served as a rifle operator in the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Colonel General Marko Bezruchko.

Siomak previously participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine in 2014-2015. After the full-scale invasion, he rejoined the military, initially serving in a territorial recruitment center before heading to the front lines in the fall of 2022. He is survived by his mother and sister.
