A 50-year-old defender, Serhiy Levadnyi from Huliaypole, was killed in the war. He had been considered missing for nearly four years. Levadnyi joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine (ZSU) in 2014 and participated in the ATO and OOS. He rejoined service after the full-scale invasion.

Levadnyi served as a mechanic in a motor rifle battalion's vehicle maintenance unit. Contact was lost on December 1, 2022, during a combat mission near Bakhmut. His remains were returned to Ukraine in September 2026 during a body exchange with Russia.
