Vasyl Zlahoda, who used the call sign "Tantsor," was killed on February 24, 2025, in Makiivka, Luhansk Oblast, during an artillery shelling and the dropping of unknown munitions. He served as a grenadier in the 107th Territorial Defense Brigade.

Zlahoda was born in Hvizdivtsi, Chernivtsi Oblast, and worked as a tractor driver. His wife, Alina, described him as having a big heart and an optimistic spirit. He is survived by his wife, two sons, and mother.
