A 31-year-old Ukrainian citizen has been detained after an attack on priests at a monastery in Jarosław, Poland, on Thursday morning. One person was killed and four others were injured in the incident, which occurred on the grounds of the Center for the Formation of Christian Culture.

According to TVN24, citing an eyewitness, the attacker, described as being around thirty years old, struck a priest in the carotid artery. When another person intervened, the attacker then struck a second priest and subsequently attacked a third priest in a café. The incident took place on the grounds of the Center for the Formation of Christian Culture, which operates at the Benedictine abbey in Jarosław.
