Ukrainian drone operators reportedly damage Russian Nebo-M radar system

Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 12:16 PM

Operators from the SIGNUM unit of the 59th Brigade, in collaboration with the First Separate UAV Center, reportedly struck a Russian "Nebo-M" radar station valued at approximately $100 million. The attack occurred about 120 km behind front lines.

During the flight, Russian electronic warfare systems attempted to jam the Ukrainian drone's video signal. Despite these efforts, the operators continued the mission, relying on the drone's telemetry and their experience. The "Nebo-M" radar was reportedly damaged in two sorties, and two Russian personnel were reported wounded.
