A Ukrainian drone reportedly struck a car near Rykovo in the Henichesk district of the Kherson region, killing Oleksandr Kolotun and his 15-year-old daughter, Anna. The vehicle was destroyed in the attack, according to Vladimir Saldo.

The Kolotun family was known in the region for operating a bakery that supplied bread to nearby villages. Oleksandr Kolotun and his wife Tatyana were raising 13 children, and Tatyana is expecting their fourteenth child. In June, Russian President Vladimir Putin personally awarded her the "Mother Heroine" order.
