Ukrainian military units and a volunteer have completed a complex evacuation operation in Berislav, extracting 15 civilians, mostly elderly, from the city which is under near-constant Russian attack. Seven residents were moved from the front lines by Territorial Defense Forces, while volunteer Andriy Petukhov, known as "Boxer," evacuated eight others.

The operation was dangerous due to continuous Russian artillery shelling and drone attacks on Berislav. All 15 evacuated individuals, comprising three men and twelve women, are now safe and being transported to family and friends across Ukraine, receiving necessary assistance. The head of the Kherson regional administration expressed gratitude to the military and the volunteer for their efforts in saving lives.
