Ukrainian forces are installing anti-drone netting along a 6.5-kilometer stretch of the Kharkiv highway, marking the first such measure within the city of Kharkiv. Fighters from the engineering and technical battalion of the 70th Separate Brigade of Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are carrying out the work.

According to the battalion commander, codenamed 'Yozh' (Hedgehog), the netting is being installed at a height of seven meters, using a wallpaper mesh typically used in agriculture. The report does not detail how the soldiers are protected during installation or the specific threats the netting aims to mitigate for drivers.
