Ukrainian forces liberated three settlements and regained control over 101 sq km of territory as part of the "Vivaldi" operation, according to Biletsky. The operation was conducted by units of the Third Army Corps and attached forces, beginning with the elimination of Russian infiltration and escalating into a large-scale offensive.
During the fourth stage of the operation, Russian forces reportedly lost around 3,000 servicemen, according to Biletsky. He also stated that Ukrainian forces managed to disrupt the offensive of the "Zapad" group and forced the enemy to redeploy part of the 1st Tank Army units, which eased pressure on Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi.
