A Ukrainian serviceman from the 81st Airmobile Brigade, Stanislav Krasnov, stated that Russian forces are continuing assaults with small infantry groups in the direction of Sloviansk. However, Ukrainian troops, utilizing infantry resilience, artillery, and drone operators, are inflicting significant losses on the occupying forces and disrupting their plans to reach Sloviansk.

Krasnov noted that the Russian army's primary objective is to break through the defense in the direction of Mykolaivka to engage in street fighting in Sloviansk. He added that despite continuous pressure for months, Russian forces have achieved no success and sustained very heavy losses.
