Satellite imagery shows the aftermath of an attack on the Kuibyshev refinery in Russia, with fire engulfing several fuel tanks in the eastern part of the facility, according to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty's Russian Service. The refinery, owned by Rosneft, has an annual processing capacity of approximately 7 million tons of oil.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially confirmed the attack on the facility. The plant has been targeted multiple times previously, with the last attack occurring in May of this year.
