Espreso, in collaboration with the Memorial platform, is honoring the memory of fallen soldiers. Junior Sergeant Ruslan Voytovych, call sign 'Metis', died on May 26, 2025, in a hospital in Dnipro after being wounded in the village of Klishchiivka, Donetsk Oblast. He was 43 years old.
Born in Lutsk, Volyn Oblast, Ruslan Voytovych was an entrepreneur before serving as a reconnaissance platoon commander in the 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade. His wife described him as "restrained, kind, sincere, and brave." He received awards for his wounds and for the defense of Bakhmut and Toretsk. He was buried in Harazdzha, Volyn, and posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage" III degree.
