Ukrainian marines from the 40th Brigade conducted an operation dubbed "Audit" to detect and clear enemy positions, securing a 5 km² area in the Donbas. During the operation, the marines captured two Russian soldiers.

The Russian soldiers reportedly hid in shelters and waited for an opportunity to advance. The Ukrainian forces' raid halted enemy infiltration in the Pokrovsk direction.
