Ukrainian MasterChef finalist Viktor Perekhrest reportedly rescued a comrade on the front
A wounded finalist of the culinary show MasterChef, Viktor Perekhrest, reportedly saved a comrade on the front lines. Perekhrest serves in the Ukrainian Armed Forces (VSU) and is a serviceman in the 101st Separate Territorial Defense Brigade with the call sign "Palto". While on duty, Viktor observed enemy drones hitting a group of his comrades moving towards their position.
Risking his life, he reached them and provided medical assistance to a soldier with the call sign "Amati". The wounded soldier managed to find a place to hide from enemy drones and wait for a suitable moment for evacuation. Some time later, Viktor also sustained injuries. However, despite this, the next morning he again reached "Amati's" location to bring him water. Viktor helped his comrade, and together with 2 other wounded fighters, they were able to evacuate. The journey of over 10 km took two days, but all survived and are now undergoing rehabilitation.
