A Ukrainian national attacked people in a monastery in Jarosław, Poland, killing one priest and wounding five others. Three priests were among the injured, with one later dying and two in serious condition. The assailant was apprehended with a knife.

Ukrainian President Zelensky condemned the attack, calling it a horrific crime and stating the perpetrator must be punished.
