A 31-year-old Ukrainian national, Ihor M., has pleaded guilty in Poland to the murder of priest Stanislav Zboynovych and the attempted murder of four other people in the city of Yaroslav. The suspect was interrogated after a psychiatric examination confirmed his fitness for legal proceedings, according to the spokesperson for the District Prosecutor's Office in Przemysl, Malgorzata Tatyukh-Kurasevich.

The prosecutor stated that on October 7, experts provided a conclusion allowing for procedural actions with the suspect. On the same day, the man was officially charged and interrogated in the presence of an interpreter and a defense attorney. "Ihor M. admitted to the acts imputed to him and exercised his right to refuse to provide explanations," the prosecutor's spokesperson reported.
