A police battalion in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region has reportedly intercepted over 650 aerial targets in the past year. Since 2025, police officers have been involved in defending the city's sky, intercepting Shahed, Molniya, Supercam, Lancet, and FPV drones, as well as others identified as Russian.

For drone destruction, police utilize small arms, specialized anti-drone rifles, and "General Chereshnya" interceptor drones.
