Maxim Lytvyn, a former squad commander in the 20th Separate Rifle Battalion, has been released from Russian captivity after nearly four years. His family, including relatives from Russia, assisted in searching for him.

Lytvyn was reportedly first informed of his son's captivity in a prison associated with Starytsky. The community of Matyusiv welcomed him back.
