A 33-year-old woman, Nataliia Ovcharova, was killed by a Russian aerial bomb on July 3, 2026, in central Sumy. Her younger daughter, Milana, was also killed in the incident. Ovcharova was a beautician and baker from Khmelivka, Sumy Oblast.

Ovcharova's mother described her as kind, hardworking, and a devoted mother. She also noted her daughter's strong relationship with her husband, Yevhen. Ovcharova is survived by her parents, older daughter, and husband.
