A Ukrainian reconnaissance unit reportedly captured a Russian soldier in the settlement of Serednie during fighting. The soldier allegedly provided information about Russian positions and his comrades' hiding places.

The soldier was reportedly captured by fighters from the 1st company of the 3rd separate reconnaissance battalion. The source claims the operation was codenamed 'Vivaldi' and that the soldier surrendered in exchange for rations.
