A Ukrainian servicewoman, Olena Ryzh, with the 412th Brigade of NEMESIS unmanned systems, is undergoing treatment for 25% burns after surviving a drone strike in the center of Pavlohrad on September 10. She recounted that a fourth "Shahed" drone hit 10 meters away from her while she was assisting the wounded.

Ryzh has been on the front lines since 2022, previously serving in the infantry and now as a combat medic. She spoke to Suspilne about the attack on civilians in Pavlohrad, the loss of comrades, her views on Russia, and her search for answers to the question, "Why did I survive?"
