The Poltava Regional Military Administration, in conjunction with the Memorial Memory Platform, is honoring the memory of fallen defenders from Poltava region. Senior soldier of the National Guard Artem Amelin sustained fatal shrapnel wounds on February 26, 2022, near the village of Tryokhizbenka in Luhansk region. Prior to this, the soldier managed to disable two Russian tanks with an RPG. The defender died in intensive care due to his injuries.
