Ukrainian soldier Bohdan Bondarenko was killed on June 23, 2024, in Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, at the age of 44. He served as a grenadier in the 90th Battalion of the 81st Airmobile Brigade.

Bondarenko was born in Dnipro in 1979 and worked as a fitter at the Interpipe NTZ plant. He received military awards including the "Veteran of War - Combatant" medal, the "Defender of the Fatherland" medal, and posthumously the Order "For Courage" III degree. He is survived by his wife, daughter, and mother.
