Ukrainian Soldier Danylo Nazarenko Killed in Action Near Klishchiivka

A report from Espreso and the Memorial platform honors the memory of fallen soldier Danylo Nazarenko, who was killed on July 1, 2023, during an assault near Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region. Nazarenko, 22, served as a sniper-shooter in the 3rd Assault Brigade.
Nazarenko, who adopted the call sign "Chui" after a Star Wars character, was posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage" III degree and the "Steel Cross" badge. He was buried in the Alley of Heroes in Boyarka.
