Ukrainian soldier Oleksandr Bilyi killed in action near Kursk Oblast

A Ukrainian soldier, Oleksandr Bilyi, from Ternivka village in Zaporizhzhia district, who was considered missing for nearly two years, has been confirmed killed during a combat mission. Bilyi joined the defense of Ukraine after the full-scale invasion began. He was last in contact on September 8, 2024, the day he died near the settlement of Zhuravli in Russia's Kursk Oblast. His identity was confirmed through DNA testing.
Oleksandr Bilyi was 49 years old. The report expressed condolences to his family and friends.
