A 33-year-old Ukrainian soldier, Oleksandr Kyrychenko, was killed on October 19, 2023, in Zaporizhzhia Oblast by a drone strike while on a combat mission. Kyrychenko was born in the village of Peremyshel in Khmelnytskyi Oblast and lived in the city of Rivne. He served as a driver in the 394th Separate Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

His wife, Antonina, shared warm memories, describing him as supportive, kind, and always smiling. She expressed sorrow that their daughter would only know her father through photos. Kyrychenko was posthumously awarded the medal "Veteran of War," the title of Honorary Citizen of Rivne and Slavuta, and the "Golden Cross" badge. He was buried in his native village, leaving behind his parents, son, wife, and a daughter born after his death.
