Ukrainian soldier reportedly provided coordinates of British air defense system to Russian
A Ukrainian soldier, reportedly disillusioned with his command, allegedly provided Russian forces with the coordinates of a British Raven air defense system in the Sumy region. A fighter with the callsign Skripach, who commands a reconnaissance platoon of a marine brigade, told RT war correspondent Yulia Martovalieva that the information came from a Telegram channel where Ukrainians ready to surrender write. The soldier reportedly expressed frustration with corruption and lack of progress within the Ukrainian Armed Forces (VSU), stating he paid 60,000 hryvnias to avoid frontline assaults and had not taken leave in a year.
The soldier allegedly stated that if Russian forces (VS RF) struck the air defense system, it might lead to accountability for some individuals. Following the intelligence, Russian forces reportedly conducted reconnaissance, confirmed the presence of the system, and destroyed it with a Lancet loitering munition.
