A Telegram post reported that Roman Filobok, born in Zaporizhzhia and a former employee of Zaporizhstal, was killed on April 16, 2022, by an enemy missile near Velyka Novosilka in Donbas. He was serving in the 110th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade.

Filobok reportedly joined the defense forces despite having military deferment. He is survived by his wife and son and was posthumously awarded the Order For Courage, 3rd Class.
