A Ukrainian soldier, Serhiy Cherkasov from Zaporizhzhia, was killed on June 9, 2023, while defending Ukraine near Storozheve in the Donetsk region. Russian forces hit his armored vehicle with an anti-tank guided missile, according to a Telegram post.
