A Telegram post reported that Yevheniy Tsyb, born in 2006 in Zaporizhzhia, was killed in June 2026 by a Russian FPV drone strike near Vasylivka in the Kupyansk district of Kharkiv Oblast. Tsyb joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2024.

Tsyb served in the 35th Marine Brigade. He is survived by his mother, two grandmothers, and an uncle. A petition has been launched to posthumously award him the title Hero of Ukraine.
