A Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SSO) serviceman, Oleksiy Dontsov, with the call sign "Gaba," has been killed in action. Prior to the full-scale invasion, Dontsov worked in the civilian sector but joined the Defense Forces after February 24, 2022. He later passed selection for the SSO and carried out complex combat missions.

During his service, Oleksiy participated in battles on various fronts. He sustained a severe concussion during one mission, after which he underwent treatment and recovery. Despite the consequences of his injury, the soldier decided to return to his unit and continue serving with his comrades.
