Ukrainian troops from the Air Assault Forces participated in the STRONG GRIFFIN 2026 exercise in Lithuania as part of the Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade named after Grand Hetman Konstanty Ostrogski (LITPOLUKRBRIG). The exercise, organized by the Lithuanian motorized infantry brigade "Žemaitija", gathered approximately 2,500 military personnel and over 500 pieces of equipment from eight countries.

The exercise's strategic goal was to integrate Ukrainian combat experience into the training systems of partner armed forces. The scenario covered actions from battalion to brigade level in urban and forest terrain, with an active phase involving reconnaissance, target acquisition by drones, fire correction, engagement, and logistics. Specific blocks focused on countering unmanned aerial systems, employing reconnaissance and strike complexes, dispersed command, fortification, and countering enemy maneuver.
