A Ukrainian unit, "Code 9.2," reportedly destroyed a Russian tank commander, Aleksey Karavaev, and killed nine Russian soldiers in the Kharkiv region. Ukrainian artillery reportedly struck Karavaev's vehicle over 20 km inside Russian territory, while Abrams tanks supported by drones attacked Russian positions.

The unit also reportedly used Fire Point-1 drones with over 100 kg warheads to disrupt Russian logistics. Karavaev had been tasked with capturing Velykyi Burluk and was accused of ordering the killing of Ukrainian prisoners of war.
