US-made STASH air defense system reportedly downs Russian drone on first launch

Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 07:25 AM

A US-made STASH air defense system reportedly downed a Russian drone on its first launch. Several such systems were transferred to Ukraine from the United States.

The STASH complex is mounted on a trailer or a self-propelled wheeled platform and equipped with an Israeli RADA radar system. STASH was likely developed by the American company V2X and is a simplified version of the Tempest complex, though its technical specifications have not been disclosed.
