On October 16, volunteers rescued 11 cats and a dog with a spinal injury from Zarichne in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. According to animal volunteer Petya Petrova, rain and bad weather helped the evacuation by hindering enemy drones.

The team spent over three hours catching and feeding the animals, including wild cats that required special traps.
