A resident of Zaporizhzhia Oblast has been notified of suspicion for allegedly preparing to assassinate a former Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman and president of the "K-1" kickboxing federation, reportedly on the orders of Russian special services. According to investigators, the 30-year-old woman traveled from temporarily occupied territory and entered Ukrainian-controlled territory via Belarus in August 2026.

Sources within law enforcement told Ukrainska Pravda that the target is reportedly Akhmad Akhmedov. Russian representatives allegedly promised a reward of $10,000 to $40,000 USD for carrying out the order and guaranteed immunity from criminal prosecution in the temporarily occupied territory.
