Yemen's armed forces reportedly struck the departure hall of Terminal 3 with a missile. This marks the fifth warning from the group stating that Saudi Arabia's airspace and airports are no longer safe, with the exception of Mecca and Medina, urging avoidance of air travel throughout the Kingdom.

The group has previously warned against air travel in Saudi Arabia, with this latest statement specifying exceptions for the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
