Yemen's Houthi forces claim strikes on Saudi airports, oil facilities, and advance in Taiz

Sunday, October 11, 2026 at 08:33 PM

Yemen's Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree claimed four operations in the past 24 hours, including missile and drone strikes targeting King Khalid Airport in Riyadh and King Fahd Airport in Dammam, as well as the Shugadam gas facility and Aramco's Tanajib refinery. Saree warned international airlines and travelers to avoid Saudi airports, stating operations would continue until the aggression against Yemen and the blockade cease.

Saree also advised Russian citizens against traveling to Saudi Arabia until a ceasefire or end to the war. He suggested continued strikes on airports, including passenger terminals, and expressed doubt about Saudi air defenses. The Houthi spokesperson also reported that Houthi forces captured the city of Al-Misrah within the Taiz pocket and advanced towards the outskirts of Taiz city, noting weakening resistance from surrounded Saudi forces.
