Mikhail Zvynchuk, founder of the Z-project "Rybаr", reportedly returned to Moscow on October 11 with his wife and three project employees, arriving from Belgrade. The five individuals had been detained in Montenegro on October 9 and subsequently expelled to Serbia for national security reasons, according to RTVI.
Zvynchuk stated that the Russian government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, special services, Rostec, and other individuals were involved in his release. The group's equipment, including cameras and a drone, was confiscated during their detention and reportedly not returned. Zvynchuk had entered Montenegro on October 7, with Vijesti reporting he planned to film a documentary on the country's visa policy. The "Rybаr" project claimed the team was in Montenegro legally to film the Cetinje Monastery.
