Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has sent troops to Russia to support the Russian army, claiming that North Koreans have suffered losses. Zelensky questioned why Koreans would fight in Ukraine and suggested Kim Jong-un uses them as currency.

Zelensky also noted that North Korea's improved ballistic missiles and drone capabilities have been observed by its neighbors and countries across Asia.
